Programs

Annual payments of $100 per acre are available to landowners enrolling qualifying sites along lakeshores, streams or wetlands into the CRP buffer strip programs.

Cost-share payments are available to landowners installing qualifying Best Management Practices that protect water quality or retain storm water.

Cost-share payments up to 75 percent are available to landowners replacing exiting open tile intakes with rock intakes.

Cost-share payments up to 50 percent are available  to landowners sealing abandoned or un-used wells.

Cost-share payments up to $300 for new rain gardens.   Other cost-share programs may also be available.

Cost-share payments up to $500 are available to landowners replacing failing or non-complying septic systems.
